What is Google Directory?

The Google Directory is a category-specific search engine that is gaining in popularity (directory.google.com).  To feature on the Google Directory you have to submit your domain name to the Open Directory Project www.dmoz.org - the content of the Google directory is based on the Open Directory and is enhanced using Google's own technology.  

Being part of the Google Directory can increase your Google Page Ranking and help with search engine rankings.  It is important to note that you cannot submit your site more than once, make sure you check the directory first to make sure you aren't listed.
